It is an unfortunate necessity today, for employers to run background checks on all of their potential employees. The precaution is worth more than solving the problem, as on crooked employee can destroy a companies net gains, and integrity in an already completive field. Though common sense would dictate this a good idea, employers may think: This isn't important enough. It would be hard for even a criminal to do much real damage to something this small. Thoughts like these are often only reappraised after much is already lost. This saves them from further losses; ill-afforded damage has already been done.

Picking out the specific employees at the heart of this damage may seen difficult, running checks on certain employees (both those newly hired and those who've been around for a while) can potentially show you thinks that, though unpleasant, may save the companies money and reputation.
